Nowadays people are looking for natural looking, a bushy and fluffy brow. Microblading is one the best using techniques to achieve that natural effect. In this technique, we use special tools that are certified for hygiene and safety all over the world. We will explain all in detail.
Your micro-bladed brows can last anywhere from a few months to a year but their lasting effects will still vary per individual. Remember that Microblading is considered as semi-permanent makeup so be prepared to come in for touchups anywhere between three and six months after your initial appointment.
Microblading General Knowledge
The Microblading technique is specific and unique because as the end result, we have bushy and fullness eyebrows in a natural way.
The Microblading technique uses a special hand tools dipped in pigment to achieve a fuller, darker set of brows as well as to draw small, precise, hair-like strokes. Since the tip of the Microblading pen is thin, it mimics eyebrow hairs. This technique is mostly inspired by unarmed eyebrows, so it is a good treatment for those who wants to have thicker and more voluminous eyebrows.

Basic Knowledge to Know About the Microblading Technique
- How long would the treatment take to complete?
Concerning to the technique and specific shade used, the average time required for a procedure is between 1.5 to 2.5 hours.
- How long does permanent makeup last?
Gradual fading can be expected for all Microblading procedures. This varies among people and is dependent on the age, skin type, medication intake, and any kind of diseases, sun exposure and aftercare of the pigmentation by the customer. Most colours last an average of 1-3 years, although some may not fade for as long as 10 years. It is recommended to all clients that the treatment must be checked or refreshed after 1 – 1.5 years.
- Is the treatment painful?
The procedure is described as slightly uncomfortable by some and pain free to others, everyone has a different pain sensitive but there are various reasons that affect the pain threshold such as alcohol, neurological drugs, caffeine, stress etc. We should inform every customer about these items and prepare them before the appointment. Although With the help of topical anaesthetics there is minimal discomfort.
- Who is permanent makeup treatment suitable for?
This treatment is suitable for anyone over 18 who wants to feel good about themselves and confident that the makeup application is faultless, also fits for all type of skin. It can be especially good for older ladies who lose pigment in their eyes as they age. By using the eye pigmentation technique irregularities will be compensated as well as you will enjoy of professional look and can save the time in your lifestyle.
- Does the treatment need to be touched up?
Touch up is recommended for small gaps and weak spots after 4 to 6 weeks of the pigmentation. Depending on the client’s skin condition and their aftercare, some parts of the pigmentation may lose and its density, so it need to be corrected.
Workplace:
- Micropigmentation/Microblading workplace should be inspected by local council.
- Workplace should meet all the required hygiene criteria.
- Hot and cold water and a sink to wash hands must be in place.
- Liquid soap must be available close to sink area.
- Hand dryer such as electrical or paper towels must available close to sink area
- Workplace must be easily cleanable and disinfect able.
- All the tools and accessories must be disinfected after and before next client.
Tools and Accessories
All the tools penetrating into skin must be kept clean and sterilized. Blood must be cleaned off the tools and sterilized before use. Any bacteria must be cleaned off the re-useable tools and be sterilized.
It is recommended to use tools that are easily cleanable or use disposable tools. Use disposable sleeves on all the tools and make sure to replace them for each client before start of the treatment.
